David Legg Photography is a husband and wife team operating out of a home studio in the Brandon/Reservoir area of Mississippi. In addition to shooting in and around the beautiful settings close by, they can pack up their extensive location gear and come to a location of your choosing. From traditional formal poses, to fun spur of the moment candids, David loves to do it all.
Weddings
Please call 601.829.4082 to discuss availability and pricing. After the initial phone call, we can send you more information and schedule a meeting to discuss your needs and our wedding program. Our basic package includes the following:
- Full coverage – Preparation through reception
- Bridal portrait sitting – One to two months before wedding
- One 11x14 or two 8x10 custom prints of bridal portrait to use at the reception. Canvas and larger prints available.
- Engagement sitting including 5x7 black and white for newspaper. Provide us with your write up, and we will make sure your photo and article appear in the newspapers of your choice.
- Online proofs – Proofs available for viewing and print purchase in client log-in section.
- Proof portfolio – Leather bound proof booklet of wedding images with up to 450 preview proofs. High quality numbered prints to assist in album design.
- Choice of images on CD for Mississippi Magazine if requested.
- Wedding album – 10”x10” Renaissance black leather, silk lined, library bound with gold, silver, or black gilded edging with prints. Twelve pages included (24 sides). Additional pages available. Album is custom designed using the images and sizes of your choice with a mix of color, black and white, or sepia custom prints.

- DVD wedding slideshow – David takes all of the images from your wedding day and adds zooming, panning, fades, and music of your choice for a beautiful story collage of your wedding day. You really have to see one to understand this presentation.
Portrait Sessions
Please give us a call at 601.829.4082 to schedule a session. We first need to determine what type of sitting or wedding package suits your needs and exactly what you are looking for in your portraits and photos. We can then discuss how best to capture the images you are looking for.
Viewing Your Proofs
Although David has embraced the quality and versatility of digital, he shoots in a format (RAW files) that requires extensive post processing for maximum quality. Please allow 10 to 14 days from your session to view your proofs on our website by going to client log-in and clicking on your name. David does complete touch-up for facial blemishes, cropping, and maximizes color and exposure before posting your proofs. We believe that quality takes a certain amount of time and is worth waiting for. If for some reason you are in a rush (i.e. senior portraits for invitations), please let us know.
Online proofs
We can post your proofs in our client log-in area which is a great convenience for you and your friends and family to view and order prints. Please know however, that online proofs are “compressed” for website viewing and do not fully represent the quality of the high resolution images or prints. To discuss further touch-up, different cropping, or large print choices, it may be best to come by our studio to view the images at full resolution. We also offer a printed proof booklet which may better represent how your photos will look in print and is a way for you to have all of the images to keep.
Prints
Our prints are custom photographic archival prints from a professional lab using Kodak Endura paper – the best available. We also offer stretch canvas and board mounts.
Placing an Order
If we post your images in our client log-in area, you and your family can order directly from the website using Visa or Mastercard. For more versatility, multiple poses, larger prints, canvas, or board mounts, please use the information and order form we give you at the session. A 50% deposit is due when you place your order and the balance when you pick it up.
